Does anyone have pics or know what's differant on the new "louder" OEM 2011 Evo X exhaust?

For those that don't know the 2011 Evo has a differant exhaust from the factory than the 2008 and 2010's had. It's supposedly louder?

I thought that Mitsu just did changed the muffler like Works does. Like this:

something was also added to the midpipe for the 2010s that isn't on the 2008s. maybe another resonator or cat?

I also heard it got louder but if you have an aftermarket exhaust anyway, it doesn't make a difference

any updates on this subject? i am planning to stay with stock exhaust but gonna do highflow cat and fpred with o2 housing and dp so i wanna know if its very restrictive.

I'm using the 2011 OEM Exhaust and it's as loud as an aftermarket exhaust, but it does grumble a bit in the cockpit which sounds somewhat powerful. From the outside, it's ALRIGHT. Nothing special.

but does it make power? will it make power with the red? im putting my turbo in tomorrow and tuning next week.

That I don't know, and I meant it's NOT as loud as an aftermarket in my previous post.

look at baseline 2011 dynos and cobbs 2011 stage 1 dynos they blow the 2008, and 2010 evos outta the water. is this all because of the exhaust probley not but im sure it helps
