Weird sound on EVO SE

maybe you guys can help me here, when I am driving the car with the windows up the sound inside of my SE is like if I am inside a Helicopter or like when you have a bent wheel,I check the wheels and they look fine.... do your SE sound like that? are the tires making the sound?
forgot there is no vibration on the steering wheel... thanks

Your description of the problem is not very descriptive. My SE sounds like a Evo, not a helicopter. Your best bet is to make sure you can replicate the problem on a specific piece of road close to the dealer, then ask the service rep to go with you over that same road and at the same speed.

Mine sounds like a jet engine of pure awesomeness... not a helicopter.

Hope it's nothing major dude. Report back after you get it checked out!

I had something similar, and my issue was a wheel bearing. Some knucklehead who test drove it before me must have nailed a serious pothole...

But mine was also pulling to one side. Are you traveling straight?

^^ Could be a bad tire or wheel bearing. I'm guessing it increases with speed. Does one of your wheels "feel" hotter after you've been driving a little while?

I had a bad wheel bearing on my VIII and when I took it to the dealer the tech drove it about 50 ft in the parking lot and knew exactly what it was. It is VERY loud while driving.

It should be under warranty unless you have suspension mods or new wheels..

still have the factory Advans on the car? if so, it's probably just the tires making the noise.
