Evo X Bogs at 4000rpm?

This is a new development. 2010 Evo x GSR just under 30k miles daily driver. While driving on the highway (tested this with all gears) if Im at steady speed in either 3 4 or 5 gear ad ~3500rpm and I floor it the rev jumps like its building pressure, drops 500 revs then continues to build up. Clutch isn't slipping, plugs are good, and hoses aren't leaking. I cant figure it out. I did have a cobb tune on it for 9 months now and de-tuned it to stock and the issue didn't go away. Has anyone had this issue before?

Mods on car? Are you the original owner? Have you tried logging with the AP to see what was going on?

Could be a myriad on things but too little detail to comment.

go to autozone and get new hoses if you even think there could be a crack. they are cheap, and better quality.

Initially I would have guessed clutch but you said it was ok. Nevertheless, 30k for a stock clutch is not too bad.

I was about to say clutch too the way you described it. I would baby the car and try to find a shop ASAP. The longest it'll last is a few weeks if its a daily.

I'm about to hit 30k and I had to go up an big incline of about 70 degrees from a stand still so had to slip the clutch a good bit. It was seriously felt like going straight up. I'm kinda worried about mine now. It seems the engage point higher although I did a couple pulls and it seems really good.
