Had to raise this one back up.... I'm having the same issue, especially when coming to a stop when the AC is on. It nearly drops the idle so low that the car stalls.

I had been having problems starting about once every week, now this. I have reverted to the factory ECU and the car still shows signs of stalling out.

MODS are the Cobb Cat back + Cobb intake. Was running the S1 maps via the AP.

^^ not sure hot the cobb intake looks like but do you have a heat shield around it? The AC fan could be causing it.

I do not have a heat shield around the cobb intake. I was going to re-install the factory air tubing, but that probably won't help much at stop, which is when it happens anyway.

I did check my inlet tube and it looks fine.

Since the air filter is new, I purchased some MAF cleaner, and will clean it. Perhaps it pulled some of the oil out and is causing it to have issues?

Thankfully was an easy fix. Check for air leaks
Trust me no "SUPER hot" temps in PA will cause your stalling. Here in Phx we go May - Aug with day time temps from 105-118, and around 1am we'll see it hit it's low mark for the day around 93-98 degrees. I've seen my IAT while cruising around 185-190 before.

As far as the K&N thing, mine kept popping off too from the heat. I ended up taking a couple really small screws with the round heads and screwing them into the MAF, and when I clamped the rubber part of the filter on the MAF it had something to hold onto. I noticed the MAF housing where you attach the filter is tapered, so it's bound to happen again to you.

I'm bone stock - mine hasn't stalled yet but I've seen rough idle. It dips down to about 500 rpms and bounces a bit.
