I bought a ring for her well before she bought me the EVO. I am actually leaving Afghanistan today, should be home in 3-4days. To surprise her and propose.

I posted pics of my car and fam on pg3 of the thread. She wants a 5spd octane blue. She has been looking but I dont know how soon she will get one. It will be fun to have two of them. Her sister called us twinkies already hahaha. I am hoping to get some nice pics of my car while I am here. Got to find a good spot.

Make sure to get a cobb accessport or something so you can tune your car. If she's getting a 2011 or 2010 she'll destroy you even if you have a catback (if driving ability is the same). Getting an AP is an easy way to win because the AP is not available for a 2011. Unless she gets an ECUFlash tune she has no hope of winning.

 

She can drive, I am a little better driver but once she is comfortable with her car it is almost an even match. I have the AP on the way along with a boost control solenoid both bought at AMS. Did the intake this morning. Oddly enough I am discovering more and more done to this car as I go. Already has bushings and springs done.

I dunno what year she will end up with but i don't think she will buy a 2011 either. She thinks buying a brand new car is a waste of money . She has always bought lightly used cars. Under 20k on them but we'll see.
