while cruising around 75-80mph on the fwy, a pigeon came out of nowhere and hit the front end of the car. poor thing. he probably saw food on the fwy and decided to make a dive for it. i felt bad. well, the only visible damage is the screen behind the mitsubishi logo. it got pushed in and snapped a few wires. my question is, is this what you call the Upper Grille Mesh part# 6402A109?

 

see if you can pull it back out. replacement will cost a pretty penny.

 

Pull off the bumper cover and check if any of the mounting tabs are broken.

If they are you will have to figure out how to mount the new mesh, or get a new cover.

 

oh.some month ago by my car was hit another bird.problem was the same.but i've pull it back.and it's ok now.another one bird was hit my car in the fog lamp(was the replacement of the fog light)

 

from the looks of it, it seems the damage is only on the mesh. I dude pick up an 18 wheelers blown tire (still was in a circle shape, not just a piece) with his rear wheels and rocking it my way... I tried to dodge it but got hit at the driver sides foglight and bumper... took out my sst cooler as well as the foglight unit and bumper... You should be glad it is only the mesh the bird hit lol. To replace the mesh you will have to take out the whole bumper.

I think my murderer comment bit me in the ***. I just ran over bugs bunny coming to work. Bastard crosses and stops to look at me and crunch. Im happy no damage to tje cf lip.

 

Wow as if you just killed bugs!!! Project mu saved a nice cat yesterday ice hit and killed 5 birds and 1 possum was smart enough to duck and stay to the ground lol
