When you start your car does it start right away, meaning I have to crank my 11 evo x for good 2 sec for it to start. I know it's not a lot but my other cars start right up.
I don't even know how to explain but I expect to turn key once and vroom, not hold the key ching, ching, ching and vroom.
I have a feeling I'm gona get a lot of about this.

Yes the X's have a slight starting hesitation compared to the 8/9 for some reason.

2 secs seems like a bit too long though. Is your car stock or modified and tuned?

Mine came with a handle that I have to put in the front of the car and crank by hand.

 

sorry didn't notice this was a X thread - didn't mean for that to be a comparison. in any case 2 seconds is long - is it a full two seconds?

 

For something like this you're going to be better off finding a few other local X's and comparing vs. them in person.

Same here, Also a 2011. Mine only has ~150 miles on it though, so that's what I was chalking it up to.

 

Mine is kinda long, but I think it's the ethanol

 

not exactly two full seconds but i see other people here sounds like they have the same thing. My mods : intake & uicp, But same since day one with no mods.
I guess its normal.

Mine starts up just fine. I haven't really noticed a delay.

 

Mine starts right up too (stock) 4500 miles:

Sometimes it's really slow to start up, but most of the time it starts right up.
