I love my PB. Was gonna get the GG but after seeing it in person, the Pb is much better. Only problem is the damn paintchips. Less than 5k on it and in front of my rear driver side wheel, tons and tons of chips and the first thing I did was put a clear bra on it. I've been thinking about getting the chips repaired and then putting a thick satin clear on it to help protect the thin paint.

Sounds like to many problems with black!

 

It's black, what do you expect? Of course it will show marring more than other colors. Is there a back car in this universe that doesn't? An Evo won't magically change the visual properties of a highly reflective surface, nor will its paint suddenly decide to bond to the metal like a powder coat, nor will Japan change its legislation just for black Evo Xs. Seems pretty clear from the onset.

I have a Black Evo 8. Black looks mean when waxed the right way but then also becomes a dirt magnetic. Ask yourself this. How much do I wash and wax my car? If you dont enjoy washing your car once a week. Waxing everyother week?. Deep waxing twice a year? If you answered no to this DONT BUY BLACK.

 

I have a GG X and it's a close second to PB in my opinion.

The black is unlike any other black I've seen as far as it's depth of color.

 

Black is nice. Phantom black is very nice.
