CBRD evo X build-

hello everyone-

we have a car brought to us (from miami, yet with alaska tags) and the owner is deployed in afghanistan-

The car was sent to us for a nice round of mods- basically hitting on all the bases-

there she is sitting in the showroom-

Here is what we will be covering- as we want everyone to see how we do things-

We have until oct 30th to get her done- so its going to be tight (coatings and so forth take a few weeks)

This car gets run at Sebring International (where we've won in star mazda and ALMS competition) so thats a little extra motivation for me-

SO here is a run down of what we will show:

Engine Performance

CBRD bbx lite with swain coated hotside
CBRD fmic
CBRD Racing Radiator
CBRD IC pipes (with custom logo plate)
CBRD tubular manifold with swain coating
AMS Bellmouth with swain coating (an excellent downpipe)
ID 1000 injectors (the best on the market right now)
Pierburg 3 port (we use on EVERY build in house, the best 3 port in my opinion)
Amsoil 15w-50 dominator oil
Economy and Track maps (cobb ap)

Interior

Sparco Evo 2 seats
Custom CBRD mounting solution
6 point Schroth harnesses
Harness bar
CBRD Dead pedal (yep a new product)

Drivetrain

Girodisc 2 piece front and rear rotors with DS2500 Ferodos and 600 fluid
Enkei RPF1 18x9.5 et 15 with 255/35-18 AD08 Advans (thanks advan- for a WIDE 255, measures 11")
AMS Brake cooling ducts
AMS MC reinforcement ring
Exedy stage 2 clutch with re-machined factory flywheel

CBRD performance alignment and corner weight with KW coilovers (already on car)
CBRD modified rear fenders

So...

Stay tuned Ill cover each aspect of the build as it happens

Thanks to AMS for supplying some bits and pieces that keep us from having to re-engineer things ourselves- truly a first class operation!

and Martin from girodisc for great brake applications-

Cheers

and Stay safe over there Richard-

CB & the CBRD Staff-

I say it makes it 3 laps before the MC folds. Convince the owner to replace that pos stocker.

The BBX Lite is a great choice for those requirements---

its spools as close to stock as possible for the airflow it makes- and will make generally ATLEAST 50whp over stock peak, on a low reading dyno-

No it won't, because it doesn't have a MC. It's a MR.

Not sure why Chad put MC and clutch parts in the listing and put a photo of a MR.

EDIT: Nevermind Chad just corrected me in a chat window. :P

Interesting that it has a MR fog light vent and painted hood/fender vents

sorry for the confusion guys-

it is NOT an MR-

has MR features but not an MR-

we do have a 2011 MR on the lift getting BBX lite and some other bits like our FMIC and so on, and a 2010 MR here with our tial kit-

all of which Mr Razorlab bryan (guru) helps me with dialing in the SST properly-
