What do I need with a new turbo?

So upgrading my turbo tomorrow with either BBX LITE or FULL I was wondering what else do I need to increase the lifetime of the turbo / keep the car safe? Sorry if this sounds noobish, this is my first real big upgrade and I just want to make sure I have all the support to keep both the turbo and car running well.

I am not talking about mods to increase the power of the turbo I'm talking stuff that can be done/added to the turbo directly. Thanks

Motor oil. Frequent oil changes and let the car cool down after running it hard instead of shutting it off immediately.

You are going to need new injectors and possibly fuel pump, prolly downpipe, maybe intercooler.. etc.

I would take the above advice and make sure to use good oil and change it often..

Yes, good advice! Do you have a turbo timer? It's good to let your engine idle for 30 seconds to cool it down and let the oil get out of the turbo after you drive. Also, you may want to get a bigger intercooler too. It'll keep temperatures lower which ultimately means you can run a higher boost and with a better turbo, you'll have higher temps.

I'd also say upgrade your o2 housing as well while you're there because you're going to want to do it at some point anyways, and you're right there with the install. What does everyone else think?

I agree about the intercooler, but on most of the X downpipes the O2 housing comes as a part of the downpipe.. fuel system upgrades too.

I guess I should have made things more clear.

Currently installed is:

ETS 4' FMIC
ETS U + L ICP
ETS Intake
CNT Catted downpipe
CNT Dual exhaust
GrimSpeed ECBS

------------------------------------------------
Already order, here, or on the way are:
------------------------------------------------
BBX LITE Turbo
ID 1000C Injectors
AMS Fuel Rail
BLAQOPS 255 Fuel Pump Kit
CBRD Manifold
DEFI Boost Gauge
AEM Wideband UEGO

I meant what gaskets need to be replaced (turbo to manifold and manifold to head gasket), hrmmm... upgraded wastegate? Should I change the plugs? I'm only @ 17k miles.

Only thing I can think of besides those two is to get rid of the stocker DV and go with aftermarket that can hold 25-29 PSI well, thinking bout COBB's DV. Sorry I guess my original post wasn't that clear. I specifically mean what in the engine bay needs to be replaced / upgraded due to wear and tear / upgraded power.

I was thinking about doing this as well since turbo was coming off and it'll save cost in the long run.

Any brands besides MEGAN RACING that make single O2 housings? I've already dropped $3,500 within the week, my funds are running really low and I don't really want to do another $350 on a AMS styled O2 Housing + DP combo on top of $250 for a high flowing cat =\

You can crush the factory BPV and it will hold more PSI, save you some money.....

I dont recommend doing this-

purchase a synapse compact- that is your best option-

if you run the stock bov- you will have issues- We've proven this over and over-
