More noise is to be expected, but look for soot residue around any connections. Soot will indicate a leak.

did you get the recirculating or dump version? If it's the dump, you should definitely hear that woosh sound.

So what if I get a cat back system, will these sounds go away and standard performance exhaust sound, cause I still have the stock cat back.
Mine is a 2011 by the way.

Could actually be hearing the turbo spool through the intake. A vid would help everyone help you a lot.


stupid question though, why a DP with OE exhaust? Just seems a little backward, not that it will hurt anything.

you know unfortunately, it's the weekend but... your best bet is to call Michael from ETS on monday morning, he will for sure help you in any way he can as they are known for great customer service. If something is indeed wrong especially on their part, he will make sure it's corrected immediately.

If you listen carefully, you can hear the air getting sucked in and recirculated back from the BOV, even in stock form.

Do all down pipes with the flex do that sound, what about ams down pipe there's have the flex as well ?
Because it's really annoying.
