How long does it take?

I would to know how long you waited for a part to come in?

Or

What is the max time it took you to install a part?

The reason for this is because I purchase a flossy knob on 12th of October 2011, today is the 1st of November 2011 still didn't get knob. I purchase my works shifter a week ago and got it yesterday.

first of all, where did u buy ur part? second, when you buy ur parts, check the shipping times. when u order something that has a free-2 day shipping, then thats what it is, 2 day shipping.

now if u order something from china, taiwan, japan, international etc, then thats up in the air (pardon the pun)....thats anywhere between 2-4 weeks.

MAPerformance r great with shipping times, if they can, they can do drop shipments. if its not drop shipments, if they use USPS priority mail, thats about 2-3 days. if they use UPS, its about 3-5 days.

one word of advice, if you want ur parts now or tomorrow, pay for the overnight shipping. if you dont want to pay extra, then its a waiting game. BUT check the shipping times, it would help.

and uhhh, you know halloween just past by right? i know its not a business holiday but that still backs up the shipping times

You ordered it on oct 28, which is a Friday. How is it possible, you ordered it oct 28 and it was sent out and you should have received on oct 28?

Give it time man. Shipping is based on business days. Sat and sun don't count. It's only been 2 business days since you ordered it.

Pro-tip - Take a breather, it will come!

However, when I ordered my flossy knob it took almost two weeks to show up. but I had to wait for my heavy weight to be engraved.

They are good guys over there, just touch base with them and they will answer the question of why your knob hasn't arrived after... 3 days...

<grin> October 28 was last Friday. How can it get to you by the end of last week, when that was the end of last week? You ordered on Friday; it's now 3 business days later. Unless Flossy is using a buttery fresh transporter beam, you'll likely need to wait a bit longer.

I've waited 8 months for parts.

Flossy is a small company. If you ordered on the 28th, then it probably didn't leave their place until late that day or late Monday.

EDIT:

Ok, if you ordered on 10/12 then it should have been there by now. Did you get tracking? Call them.
