I have heard of hot cars, but that is ridiculous. I considered a Camaro too for about 2 minutes, but the Evo was basically a no brainer. Count yourself as another person who has seen the light.

This thread looked fun. I had a 1999 gst for about 7 years, got it to 459whp, stock bottom end, and I hated that it had no traction. Well I bought a 2006 evo se, drove that for about 2 years but didn't really do anything to it. Well I though I was ready for an "adult" car, so I sold it and bought a 2008 G37s. After driving that thing for 2 years, I hated the handling and pick up and decided to go back to the Evo. Omg I'm happy again! 2010 Evo x MR, and who would've thought I would've gone to an automatic. "heaven"

My requirements were:
-AWD,
- seats five-ish,
- daily driver,
- handles well,
- trackable (because I have access to a track, just in case)
- and under 30k,
I looked long and hard (candidly there is not much out there that fits the bill, that is Ford Fusion, Taurus, Subaru WRX STI, BMW xdrives, Audis, Porsche).

Well, I snagged an 2011 EVO X GSR off eBay. All requirements met.

It good to be fanatic about something again.....

By any chance, r u that same "dyss" on the Z forums that always have hot chicks as avatar?

Just wondering. Bought a camera from u in the z forum before, if not...different dyss then.

Bought the X coz I need a backseat, plain and simple, but still have performance. Always wanted to have an evo since watching Jackie chan's movie "who am I". So I thought, since I'm going for a new car, might as well look around. The price was in my price range so I bought it.

I haven't got mine yet because I'm deployed but the EVO is an amazing looking car, clearly has excellent performance and has four doors. You just don't find an all in one car unless you are looking at an EVO.

I wanted a 4-door car that was cheap to mod and go fast in. I guess I could have looked at American cars for this but failed.
