Suspension upgrades

So, why did you upgrade/change your suspension?

I'll start...

I wanted coilovers. It started as just knowing I wanted them. But I went the KW V3 rate becausee of the progressive dampening. helps with a smoother ride feel. lower center of gravity, with my 2 inch wider stance from spacers. increase my track/street traction dramatically.

Simply put, I wanted a more compliant setup so I could go faster on less than perfect roads. I replaced the factory KYB suspension with the factory Bilstein suspension from the MR, and added a set of F/R anti-swaybars to aid my driving style, or its lack thereof as the case may be.

Which sways did you go with? Do you got any lowering springs?

Changed the suspension for KW Clubsports to make the cars lap times drop at Timeattack events. Success.

Good catch.

Yeah, just the half inch of travel that is softer rate so I can still have a reasonable road driving experience. There are some days where the coilover ride just outright blows. We all know what I'm talking about.

I should mention, I put on a Agency Power rear sway bar. I did this to help give it a bit more rear bias, which suits my driving style pretty well.

I got Whiteline, no lowering springs. At 8/10 the thing is a scalpel.

So, is that the consensus? 8/10 with both Whiteline bars or 10/10 with just the rear?

Only the rear bar - Whiteline is a good choice. But you will want coilovers for anything but you occasional track day.
