Awd problem

Please help with any information you may know.

First timer to any forum, Just got my evo March 2011 . I recently changed my Clutch from stock to ACT HDSS. 2008 EVO X GSR , has 53xxx miles on it. Regular oil change, redline tranmission fluid, filter change etc.

ALL STOCK EVO X.

My issue is when I shift up or down on low rpm, I hear a ringing/coin jingling noise under me. I feel that the evo is picking up slow before and after the clutch job, as if it is only running front wheel drive and it may only be. I launched it when tires were wet and only the front wheels spun out!

What do you think it may be that is the problem? What do you think is the costs? Should I let dealer do it, ptuning in VA, or private shop?
(Evo is parked with cover, sitting pretty and clean, but hurt)

Please assist!....

And

I was reading the 2008 EVO X MANUAL. I feel and now believe it has to do with Propeller Shaft .

To be serious, Is this a serious problem? If its not running AWD! Of coarse it is!

Any info my fellow enthusiast has, I'd Love to hear. Please...

To me it sounds like the transfercase may have been damaged but you need to give us a lot more info on what happened with your Evo.

Ptuning in Manassas, VA. Installed clutch, I already had this issue before ACT HDSS clutch install. I needed to change clutch before taking it to dealer cuz stock clutch was straight DONE! Slipin as soon as i hit boost. It was crazy.

I really think it is the center bearings on the propeller shaft. But im no mechanic, just a guy that loves his evo and would study more about that than an exam at school

How did you burn up a clutch that quickly? Did they re-bleed the ACD and AYC circuits?

Too much spirited driving I would say , this is my first manual car that is probably another reason. I don’t think so, I was reading about that and it said that I should have dealer do it, to make sure they do it right. I know when they did the clutch change, they did transmission fluids, oils etc, but I will double check to make sure, my dude works there so ill check.

Does it make the sound when not moving with the clutch pedal depressed? If so can you make a recording of it?

I've heard bad things about Ptuning from a lot of people here in Northern VA. Did you hear the noise before the clutch install?
