Are you talking about having a FQ400 ECU ordered from the UK to the US dealership? Their ECUs wouldn't be compataible because the Mitsu dealers in the UK have the ECUs tuned for the FQs internals/mods. And even if they weren't tuned for the FQ, the cars over in europe are tuned to different specs than the US cars. I have heard of someone ordering a FQ400 front end though....I think it was Archibabe...

welll... kida/sorta...

I'm talking about having my mitsu dealer order a FQ400 bumper and (if possible) the ECU from mitsubishi HQ or wherever theyd get that from, so probably UK like you said

and as for the ECU, it is different, which is why if I could get my hands on it, Id like to slap it in my gsr.... I just dont know how it'd go about being inspected when my car is due next year and all that

but if all I could get is that bumper, then I'll be fine with that, and then just get a tune on my own

Archiebabes has the whole FQ400 kit installed on his car. If you want the real deal than you have to order it from UK and I think its like 6-8 thousand.

The FQ400 UK Spec has a MoTeC ECU. I believe it an M800. You can buy that stateside.

That's his car so I guess he is selling the extra kit he bought.

Why get the FQ ecu? Why not just get your car tuned? I may be missing something, but that sounds like a huge waste of money to me...?

Ahh, well the Evo VIII FQ400's used MoTeC:

The Evo X FQ400 uses the stock ECU that's just remapped:
