X stalls when letting off throttle

Wazup all
My X recently displayed some stalling symptoms.
I was going WOT in 3rd to 4th last week and when pressing on the gas after entering 4th the engine hesitated. After a few days i realised that the car would do that when i let off the throttle...like to upshift or to idle to a traffic stop.
I mentioned the problem to a mechanic and he said that it might b the throttle body that needs cleaning.
I cleaned the throttle body and then started the car and after a while ...pressed the gas...let off and the problem repeated itself.
I talked to a friend later that night and he said that it might b the throttle positioning sensor.
I reset some codes on my Cobb AP this morning and then the problem vanished.
Does anyone know what could've caused the initial probs? Hope its not a nuisance of a Q?
Thanks

P.S. the codes had to do with heated oxygen sensor slow response and high input on barometric pressure circuit.

barometric pressure circuit.

I'm guessing that probably has something to do with controlling fueling, which might be relevant. What are your short term fuel trims on you AP looking like?

You don't have a VTA BOV do you?

Prior to it happening. Did you reflash a new map or unplug the battery? I may be wrong but doesn't the throttle position sensor have to relearn itself for idle position?

Nope. No reflash. No unplugging of battery.

Is this an MR? I had a similar situation in my old MR with the AMS short ram intake without having the intake shield. The air flow was causing the car to stall.

Does it die at idle?
What is your MIVEC cam retard doing when this happens?
What do you have for mods?

If someone had hijacked this thread it would've been perfectly justified. Sorry for taking long again.
Its an 08 GSR
Its got a testpipe, magnaflow 3inch catback, cobb ap stage 2 93 oct.
STFT is between 2 to 11 after startup.
I logged idle and cruising if anybody wants to take a look at it.

Update: The problem has been fixed for some time now. Turns out that there was an exhaust leak and upon letting off the throttle the car would stall.
Tought i'd post it for an update and ofcourse as reference to anybody who might encounter this issue so they can save time with the troubleshooting game.
Thanks for the hints guys
