need some help with my new EVO

hey guys, i've been a member of this forum for a few years now but i've never actually owned a LANCER EVOLUTION. over the years i've owned on '03 LANCER ES, an '05 LANCER ES, and an '07 LANCER ES. i've done my share of mods, as well, and i'm very familiar with the 4G63 engine (since the 2002-2007 LANCER had the same engine).

my question is what are some good mods that i can do to the EVO X i'm purchasing? on my previous cars i've upgraded pretty much everything there was to upgrade. engine parts, tranny parts, brakes, exhaust, you name it. since the EVO already comes with a lotta upgraded parts (as compared to a base LANCER), what mods are worth investing in? what are some basic upgrades i can do to get some improvement in speed and/or handling on the already-beastly EVO?

I say pick up the Cobb AP First and foremost, upgrade the intake, and throw the works short snifter kit with undercarriage bushings. You will be very happy with that alone. Check out the stickies though there is a lot of information in there and just read read read and read.

My recommendations:

Suspension: Coilovers
Engine/Performance: Exhaust/Intake/Tune

In that order.

Well, all you really need is a TBE, FMIC, UICP, LICP and a CAI. Obv. a tune to go along with it as far as power mods go. You could get a bigger turbo if you get bored of that, hehe.

The most bang for the buck you will ever gain when it comes to handling is getting yourself whiteline F and R anti-sway bars (with R arm extender). If you get the MR you will get better shocks than the GSR so you do not have to go with coilovers and just get yourself an eibach pro kit (or swift if you prefer) and call it a day.

If you're not planning for big numbers, all you need is TBE and a tune for Max results. A bigger intercooler isnt necessary unless you live in an extremely hot environment. If there's extra money, get an intake and a UICP before the tune as well. I would Mess with the suspension much later as this car is quite capable in stock form.
