Hey i need some help as far as what parts i need to get for my lancer as well as a few other questions i have. I Have an 03' Lancer ES that I've had for a year now and fixed it up immensely better than when I first got it used. Cosmetically I'm satisfied where it's at for now, my main focus this year is performance since it's creeping up to 200,000 miles. It's currently at 187,000 and I figured it's time for a new engine (current 4g94 works fine) also its very much under powered. So I have plans to pull a 4g64 block from my local junkyard as well as pull a 2.4L DOHC kia cylinder head since it's cheaper than an evo 8 head yet is very similar. My plan is to also have it boosted sometime by the end of this year or next year. I just wanted to know if there were any additional parts i would need just to complete this swap or do I just bolt the kia head onto the 4g64 block then swap it into my lancer. It's also a 5-speed if that helps, I'm very serious about making my lancer into a kick Λss beast.
I have been kind of back and forth on what I wanted to do to make it faster but I'm completely set on the 4g64 block with a 2.4L DOHC kia head boosted(eventually lol).
