When getting into my car, I always put my right foot in next to the trans tunnel and grab the handle with my left hand with my right on the steering wheel. I'm 5'4 using a giant persons method to getting into small cars. Looks and feels awkward as hell, but never mess up the side bolster.

My friend's has 7k miles and it's wearing already on the suede seats. Granted he is 18 and doesn't really exit carefully, he exits it like a normal car. Still sucks that it wears so quickly.

 

Yeah thats my problem I have the suede ones and its just second nature to exit the car normally :/

 

I saw somewhere on the forum a OEM leather seat cover.

 

I have 11k and drive my car everyday and they still look new. u should post a pic of where it's wearing out.

 

 

I have an '08 with 37k and both of my front seats look brand new. I got used to getting in and out of the car properly in the VIII and it's just second nature to get out of a car like that now.
