Angry Made a stupid mistake :(, need some help

So first of all I'm an idiot, ok thats that.
I was putting on some new brake pads and lines, should have all been easy and no big deal, the pads were but when I was installing the SS lines when I got to the driver side, I striped the nut connecting the first hardline that comes from the engine bay through the fender to the OEM rubber line does anyone know if that part is replaceable if I found out what part it was and ordered it? I havent looked thoroughly but it looks like one big hardline going from the passenger side out the driver side fender.

You can try to re tap it, then when you put it back together, make sure you put some teflon tape on the male end threads. I understand you probably can't retap the whole thing since the line is in the middle, but you can tap enough, probably more than stripped.

Did you get it off? If you didn't just use a pair of pliers or vise grips to remove it. If you know someone with a flare tool you can cut the very end off put a new nut on and flare it or buy a new line all together. Don't know how much the line is. Or if you are risky you could reuse the old nut by tightening it with pliers/vise grips. Good luck

no i havent gotten it off yet, and ive tried vice grips, its not working. I dont know if it would be better to cut the hardline to get it to come off or replace the whole line

I'd just replace the line. Rather safe than sorry with brakes imo.
