Grimmspeed ok with stock tune?

Ordered a few parts and wondering if I should wait till I get tuned to install the Grimmspeed 3 port or is it perfectly fine to install before tune?

from what i've read it has to be tuned. i would just have the tuner install at the time of the tune.

No.
Do not install it until your ready to be tuned. The boost tables in the ECU require a completely different setup.

No ! Lol unless you want to see pieces of your motor all over the road.

The stock bcs works by using 100% duty cycle during full boost with restrictor pills to avoid over boosting. Using a 3-port and the same duty cycles would mean essentially maxing out your turbo.

It would be completely pointless without a tune.

if you have read their instructions, you would know that you need a tune when you install this.

Long story short, if the tune is working fine with your standard solenoid.. It will not work with the 3-port. You will have to change tunes.

If you really want to install it before going to the tuner, you could run your wastegate straight to the vacuum/boost line that otherwise runs to your solenoid (bypassing the solenoid), which would make your wastegate run at spring pressure until you swap it back to start tuning. Then just temporarily block off the other lines. Someone please confirm my logic on that
