No ****, dude. That's how a business works. You want to sell your car for a much as you can, we want to buy it for a little as we can. Just like we want to sell you a car for as much as we can, you want to buy it for a little as you can.

So, are you trying to rip off a dealership when you offer them 3k less than their asking price? No, you're just doing the exact same thing the dealership is doing, maximizing benefits.

 

Is it black with dark colored rims? If so, I almost bought that car.

That does suck considering that KBB (which I know isn't the end all be all) says your car is worth a hell of a lot more. I checked on my car which is a 2011 with 8k the other day its in the $28-$29 range. I've always had pretty good luck with having dealers give me a decent price on trade ins. Hell, when I traded my 08 Apex X for my PB 11 they gave me more than my car was worth. Look for a dealer who is looking to make a sale and don't be afraid to use the, oh well I'll just keep my car technique. It always works for me!
