Talking Noise when braking

Hey guys, just changed my winter wheels to summer wheels. When coming to a stop i hear a continuous "tic tic" coming front the front... Not sure what it could be, didnt do anything special when chaging my wheels. It sounds like my brakes but im not sure, ill check it out later but wanted to see with you guys if theres any experience with this...

Thanks guys!

Rock in the tire? Something on the inside of your rim that is touching the brake caliper as it comes around?

Could it possibly be a wheel bearing?

Well I am not sure about the wheel bearing as it only creates this noise when I am coming to a stop (in the last 15km/h). As I apply the brakes and the car comes to a stop, there's a ticking sound

Like I said, I'll check it out tomorrow, maybe a little rock lodged somewhere creating this sound, we'll see.

If anyone came across such a problem, please share!

i had this problem on my 240sx, came to the answer when i finally jacked the car up and spun it around to see where it is at and it still clicked. the bearings only made a noticeable click when i was stopping just due to lower road noise. if it sounds like one of these then it might be what i had

Small update, i took off the wheel and put it back on, and that alone fixed some noises... However i am still getting a "tic" sound when applying the brakes. It only does this at a certain pressure level on the brake pedal, meaning if i brake very gently theres no noise and same goes for hard braking. Its somewhere in the mid range that i hear this ticking sound... Could it be that my pads are starting to wear out??

As always, i appreciate your input

I had a similar sound in my car a few months ago. I took it to a shop and they found a piece of a tree branch lodged somewhere in the breaks. Luckily no damage was done.

If not a piece of debris give your rotors a look.

Ok so I have taken my wheel off again and noticed that at the very centre of the wheel bearing, there is a clip, and that clip is loose. I took off my right front wheel and that clip was tight whereas the front left was loose. I took a ride and confirmed that the clicking sound, when braking, came from the front left wheel.

My questions are; is this safe to drive around with until I get it fixed? how should I fix this? and are there any other risks from the clip being loose?

thanks guys

Well I dont have the Evo anymore... But I fixed the issue by replacing the rotors, there was no way around it. I was inspecting the car for a month trying to figure it abd then said $&@! it.. Replaced the front rotors and no more noise lol
