VW on Track - "This is boring, I don't like Germany, I push these buttons and they do nothing and all these lights keep flashing at me, I wanna go to the mall and go shopping instead"

I'm not surprised at the reviewer's comments regarding the Evo on the track but am surprised few posters here have commented on the fact that he is so far off the apex on the corner and so early into to the turn that it is embarrassing. Thank goodness he had the AYC to save his bacon.

It all starts with the driver. Look at his hand positions. He's an idiot.

The person that knew an EVO would save his life according to his driving skill.

VW only thinks of North Americans as being that stupid. The European version of the Golf R has a switch to turn off the ESC.

i have not posted in a while. But what a poor review. Seems so unprofessional. You can make your points and state what you feel. But have some class and demeanor when doing it.

Funny, for some reason I got that same impression. Sometimes I think I my radar may be TOO in tune with that sort of thing and start to question myself. You know, the whole "it takes one to know one."

Do you know what corner that is? Look at the tire marks. Why are there none at the "apex"? How do you know it wasn't a "late apex". Don't tell me those are all his tire marks, cuz i don't buy it.

In some parts he kinda sounds like the Honeybadger dude, Randall. "Interior noise? The Evo don't care..."

That is by far the most unprofessional and seemingly biased auto review I've seen. The reviewer seemed like he wanted to win the audience over by giving useless info. "...a company that builds microwaves..." "...I'm getting rash from the interior..."

I wonder if he has a real knowledge base of vehicles. Seemed he mostly mentioned frivolousness aspects of one vehicle to play against the few strong points of another.
