I love the car, and still love it's look, and to be fair I haven't mod'd a thing on it. I'm sure my opinion will change after some bolt-ons and tune.
Believe me... I over estimated the squeaks and sounds from all the interior plastics as much as you!

Look, I don't have any anger issues (marriage helps you find out just how angry you can get and also helps you get rid of it for good lol) but I used to punch the sh*t out of the top-dash whenever I heard it squeak, or the door to my left, or around the navi...

Then one day I said w/e and I just got over it... put up my radio and forget the rest I would get all mad and out of place but you wont solve anything by doing that. Now I just drive my Evo when I want to have some fun... matter of fact, I havent heard any squeaks and sounds in a long while lol

The way to solve it:

Drive with windows down, or with radio up! And get a daily drive for work related stuff... keep ur Evo for when you want some pleasure out of driving, that way you don't focus on any defects

No regrets - the X is more suitbable as a daily driver...Although the interior is definitely improved from prior models, I just wish the radio and shift boot was up to par with a 30K + car...oh, and space in the tail end should NOT be called a trunk!

I thought it was solely for rear spring/strut access? Oh, well and a battery holder too.

I think the trunk has more room than my Eclipse Spyder. I may be wrong though. It is very close in comparison. But I guess to me the trunk isnt all that bad as I have seen/experienced smaller

I guess I regret getting the RA first and then the X. I knew I should of just went with the X. Then when I got the X I should of gotten the AP first thing instead of waiting lol.

When I bought mine I was debating between a IX MR, the STI hatch, and the X. I ended up with the X due to the others costing more than I thought they were worth. Only issue I have with the X is the trunk size, and that I need a bike rack. It's something I knew when buying it, and really the only thing pushing me towards the STI. Still not a regret as I now have my bike rack.

I owned an S2000 prior and sold it after 5 years of owning it. I needed something new. I do question myself as to if I should have purchased someone else (since the motor blew two weeks after buying it). But now I know the history of the motor in my car now (since it's new). So I feel like it's more reliable at least.

Part of me thinks I should have gotten something like an IS350, but I do own a 4Runner right now. I thought about going to one car. I will say I do enjoy having two cars and one being an Evo X. It's a great car for the money, but I'm always on the fence about what car to own.

And yes, I hate the noises from the interior. By far the most annoying thing about this car.
