Daylight running lamps are a joy to replace...

... NOT!

Did it on the driver's side a few months ago and my finger was numb for days afterwards. Now the passengers side is out.

I had four go out in short order. Had them all replaced under warranty. I tried to replace one of them, and could not manage it.

Yea it wasn't hard to me at all. Maybe me and prowakeskater just have tiny hands! although, mine really aren't that small..

Anyway, you could just pull fuse 13 or whatever number it is and disable the DRLs if you don't want to replace it and don't want it to look dumb driving with 1 light out.. its alot easier than killing your fingers and it is a cleaner look IMO..

I've already ordered the light, so it's getting replaced. But I'm not looking forward to it.

^^ I have red LEDs in for my DRLs as well. It makes the Evo look even more evil.

HAHHA I replaced mine too w/ red LED's and was cruising a lil after sunset and got pulled over by a MP on base....I quickly shut the car off and pulled the ebrake...he came up and asked about the lights and if I knew they were there etc etc...I played dumb and let him turn the lights and fogs on and off numerous times and he was baffled that there weren't any red lights....dumb *** said "Oh you must have them glow plug head lights that need warmed up" HAHAHAH I laughed my *** off all the way home...still haven't changed them out but yeah they were a little bit of a pain in the butt to swap
