it looks a little cleaner and a little less rice, I won't go wingless on my IX and if you have a large-ish functional wing I wouldn't recommend it either. I went wingless on my 07 sti which has a large functional wing and noticed that on the highway at 60+mph the car didn't feel as planted as it had with the wing.

Just my .02

i think you would get better responses if.... you posted in the right forum.
there i finished the sentence for you.

but aside from that, it sometimes looks cleaner if everything else flowed better to compensate for the missing wing.
but i have read at high speeds the rear doesnt feel as planted. thus for this reason i've kept it.
i might in the end go wingless around town, but depending.

I decided not to go wingless because my car doesn't have a wing.

I gained 4-5 mpg by removing the wing on my 8. It's also not as stable at 80 mph, you can feel it.

Looks are subjective.

I can see all the reasons why, to go without the rear spoiler. I would not want to be at higher speeds without it. The aero parts serve important functions on Evos. I just put on a vortex generator, which I've never had, and noticed s smoother linear feel on the highway.

4-5 MPG eh?

I had never spun out at the track until the time I took my wing off lol....

In the city I don't rock the wing, but at the track I certainly do

This.
IDK quite how many mpg the improvement is, but it makes a difference.
It looks clean.
Less cop attention (important if you're in komifornia).
Better mpg.
I guess it comes down to if you DD or not. I hardly ever go to the track and have too many speeding tickets to go over 70mpg on the hwy, so I keep the wing off.

Without the wing, an Evo gets a ton less attention. Thus, I leave it off.
