I might consider going with a BBX-Lite with just head studs and a head-gasket. I would limit the torque to 360-370, though. More than that, and Bruce might start to complain.

I might just do this. I guess that I could just use C10, if I ever decide to Auto-X or something. DSM, you may have successfully changed my mind on this one. I really badly want to adjust my setup. I have REALLY aggressive timing now in order to generate any kind of power on the stock turbo. With a larger turbocharger, I would probably get less surge (my TiAL QR would appreciate that). After I get my own personal Jarvis sorted out, I will have a state of the art monitoring program built into the navigation. This could work.

OP, a word to the wise, you might want to invest in an oil catch-can.

That looks like a nice turbo. I was looking at the bbk lite before I upgraded to the ef4. Being ball bearing it should pack a pretty good punch for sure.

I used one of Chad's turbochargers on my Ralliart, before owning my X. I had not one problem with it. It was really pretty, out of the box, too.

Isn't it funny how turbochargers are like women. They are so hot when you first get them and then after a while when your use to there crap they become just eh

It was polished and Zinc coated. It looked brand new (although it had been used). I am just amazed what heat fatigue can do to shiny, new parts. Exhaust manifolds and DP's go south in a hurry in the visual department.

Yep all that heat makes nice and shiney things look dull and crappy. But at least they make the car perform sweet.
