Anyone running Cobb Test Pipe (Catted)

Hello,

anyone using Cobb's Catted Test Pipe ??
http://www.cobbtuning.com/Mitsubishi...d-p/552202.htm

Just wondering what / if any exhaust smell you may be getting??

I was running a completely catless test pipe and my wife was always complaining
about the exhaust smell so I put my cat back on.

let me know

thanks.

It's part of my full Cobb TBE, no gas smell at all.

Thanks guys!
I'm looking for a HFC as well and aiming at either Cobb or ETS.
I also like the exhaust quality from Cobb, but ETS site says their HFC is bend to clear the driveshaft unlike other brands with straight piping knocking/contacting driveshaft down there... Has anyone knows or has this problem with Cobb HFC knocking ur driveshaft?
Also, what is different between ETS and Cobb (performance wise etc) please?

Cobb's test pipe has a bend. I have no clearance issues, it fits well.

Both brands are good. Just look at the cell count of the catalytic element to see if there is a difference. The smaller the count the higher the exhaust flow at the cost of less effective filtering of exhaust.

I run the Cobb hfc and there is a minimal change of smell over the oem cat, but i barely even notice it. Doesn't stink or anything. if you went test pipe then there is a noticeable difference in smell and sound obviously. Great piece to add to setup. I recommend it.

Cobb's does have a bend. Both Cobb and ETS use 200-cell HFC's.
