Rear 02 messed up

I put on a test pipe this morning. The rear 02 sensor stripped coming out of the stock cat. For now I have the bung plugged and AP stage 2 flashed. The 02 sensor is just zip tied but not disconnected.

I am not getting any CEL's but I wanted to know if it is recommended to replace the 02 or use the AP to fully disable the rear 02 if possible? I read about the heater sensor may cause issues later on.

Thanks for any input.

Fully disable it; I have everything disabled with my AP and don't even have a rear o2 sensor anymore.

Great so do I just use the tuner software, unplug, and then pull the wire and sensor?

Thanks for the quick response!

They disabled mine during a protune, but I'd imagine all the checkboxes are there.

Okay I sent in for the tuner race software so it should be pretty easy from there. So do you just have the bung plugged where your rear 02 was?

You either install a wide band or place the bung. You don't want a hole in your exhaust like that.

I already have it plugged I just wanted to make sure you unplug and remove the O2 sensor instead of leaving it zip tied underneath. I didn't know how much of a pain it was to remove it all.

I'm just paranoid without the sensor sitting in there it will throw off A/F readings. Does the rear sensor just read that the cat is either there or not there?

The rear o2 sensor is only to check for cat efficiency (emissions system), it does not affect the running state of the vehicle.

I have my rear o2 sensor completely removed and the bung plugged. The wiring harness for the rear o2 sensor is underneath the passenger seat. There is a flap cut in the carpet that you can access it from with the passenger seat slid all the way back.
