BOV restrictor pill

Hi guys,

Long story short, I flashed my 08 gsr with the Cobb AP stg 2. As per Cobb I needed to removed my BOV restrictor pill. On the Coob website, they are showing 2 exemple of restrictor pill which to me kinda look a motocross jet when adjusting a carb. Mind l looked like this:

Does this look right to you guys??

Thanks.

^^ Needs to be removed for Cobb AP stage 2, and probably for other tunes as well..

http://www.accessecu.com/accessport/...Pill_Instr.pdf

And the OP's pill looks slightly less restricted than other ones I've seen for the X, but it does look identical to this one from a 9..

Maybe they've stayed the same throughout generations? Or maybe pic above was wrong pill.. think there are 2, but only 1 needs to be removed.

thats what my pill looks like too. since i'm at high altitude my boost pill is removed to get my boost from 20psi to24 ish psi. i sometimes hit 26 but not often..
if i go down elivation i'll hit 28 and the boost system will fuel cut me. so when traveling i'll put the pill back in.

See what boost you are hitting before you remove the pill. You may not need to remove it. I hit 27 PSI with the pill still in on COBB stg 2 91ACN.

I hit 25-26 with my pill still there check before you remove it. Cobb instructions state that if you are not hitting your target boost then you should try removing the pill, and not doing it right off the bat.

PS and people wonder when their engine blows up.

I was hitting 26+ psi on cobb 93 oct stage 1 with just cat-back and hit boost cut a couple of times.

After 91 octane stage 2 91 oct flash and adding hfc, i'm only hitting 21 psi WITH boost pill. I don't wanna remove the boost pill until i get boost/wideband gauges to monitor everything.

2011 GSR all stock except for mods stated above
