I'm in the same boat. I originally wanted the TWM complete kit, but WORKS seems to get better nods overall.

The shifter throw is reduced by 25%, do you guys notice that it requires 25% more effort to shift, or do you not noticed it?

The second link includes the knob that I dont need.
As long as you're doing a shifter, you might as well complete the setup so it's as good as possible.

Polyurethane; less noise and no corrosion/binding issues to deal with as the bushings age in the elements. I've tried every type of shifter bushing available and I am set on the urethane. If you do get metal, plan to remove, clean, and lubricate annually otherwise it's likely they'll seize and start binding up your shifts.

Slight increase in effort but by no means heavy or stiff.

Just wondering, how would base bushings corrode inside the car?? Also they are alluminum witch is pretty corrosion resistant.

So poly underhood and metal everywhere else? Or is it best to just go poly all around?

Thank you for your help. Your kit is 500. a little to much for what I need now. Is this all I need as far as the bushings go? http://store.worksmotorsports.com/Pr...03%5F642%2E104
If I get that, and than the trans mix, and The AMS EVO X 5 Speed Gate Selector Bushing Kit from maperformance I will be at 321.8$.
I just want to make sure I am not missing any bushings going this route.
Thanks for all the help and contribution to this forum Kracka.

Well, my recommendations are included in the kit I've put together, but if you want to do aluminum console bushings that'll be fine too and probably make minimal difference either way.

Yeah, that'll be fine too, then you can just add the driveshaft and rear diff bushings later on when you're ready to add something new.

I need help. I just got my works shifter and I want to install. I just cant find a good diy for removing the console plastics arrownd the shifter. I looked on the twm instructions but my center console is different than the one they are using. Also, how do I remove the aluminum stock shift knob? I tryed unscrewing it but wont budge. I did try counter clockwise. Thank you in advance.
