Works Short Throw

I just got around to installing my Works short throw shifter and console bushings that I purchased in March. I don't know what was worse, waiting those four months, or now knowing that I could have been using this upgrade that whole time. Strongly recommend this shifter and I want to thank Krakka for all of his advice.

You're welcome! The WORKS short-shifter is my single favorite mod.

Kracka i know you did a comparison on short shifters but dont remember if you included the Torque Solutions piece?

For anyone looking at the short shifter mod I'd highly recommend the torque based on performance and price; I couldnt be happier. Together with abse bushings from Works and a weighted shift knob its day and night; far less notchy and no more grinding in 1-2 and 2-3.

I compared WORKS vs. TWM. TS's short-shifter is identical to TWM's.

I have the TWM with all the bushings and the **** is still notchy and griding I can't believe it. But I'm nott gonna buy and go through the trouble of getting a different set up. Do not buy the TWM!

wouldnt blame it on the TWM given the issues people have with the stock transmission. Did you put in solid or hybrid bushings?

The TWM was very notchy for me, that was one of the reasons I put the WORKS back in. My theory is that it is just too short.

The S2000 is generally referred to as the best shifting manual transmission ever. Short, precise, great feel.

Did you get the cage and everything or just the shifter?
