i may not have those much miles but my car is 3yrs and 6 months old.. so.. im over 3yrs coverage...

 

Any updates on this? Dealership ever mention the AP as a reason for denial?

Mine is in getting done today under warranty - 2012 GSR with 17k miles.

The dealer has sold quite a few and claimed that none of the replaced ones ever came back to be redone....

I have my doubts, if it's the same part going back on.

 

My 3rd party warranty through my loan (financed at a credit union instead of through the dealer) does not look for the usual things that mitsu does to "deny service". They had ZERO problem replacing the pump as it to them is part of the powertrain which is covered until 96k. I honestly don't know what I would have done if it wasn't for them.

You poor/lucky bastard. During the winters I'd want to end myself, but there's nothing like it in the summers. I'm from right outside of Portland.
