help! help me please!

I cant open my hood! I had said in a prior post that i broke the interior hood release lever, well now i cant open my hood completely. Ive tried pliers and all that still nothing pretty annoyed at this....ANY help would be greatly appreciated

If it's the lever in the cockpit that's broken (as opposed to the release under the front edge of the hood), then you're lucky. All you have to do is get a hold of the wire with pliers and pull. I would start pulling plastic interior pieces off. Get to the back of the hood-release lever, find the wire, grab it, and yank.

well maybe illl try again....wasnt trying to make a scene in front of my troop -.- but it shouldnt take crazy amount of pulling right? the little handle should be done with one hand

You have to pull hard. The handle it was attatched to was a fulcrum so now that you don't have that you have to pull hard.

Yea you are going to have to yank on it pretty hard. Tie a string to it and grab a few men. Tell them you are having a tug of war contest.

Also, having someone else pressing down on the hood while you pull often makes a huge difference.

If you remove your fender liner on the drivers side you can access the cable. It's a PIA but will work.
