Carbon Fiber Hoods?

Noob Question.....
I have looked under my hood, online, jumped from one forum post to the next, but still can't find on single aftermarket carbon fiber hood for the 2013 Outlander Sport. I have seen posts where people have recommend them to help thin her out but unable to find a manufacturer that sells one that fits her (based on select your car options). Does anyone know if there is an identical alternative (like the evo) or a manufacturer for this model?
I have found the wraps and the bras but not a simple hood replacement
Thanks for the advice!

Here's a little bit of info, depending on how handy you are, or what you're specifically looking for: http://mitsubishiforum.com/forum/mit...e6/#post287730

I totally agree with you. Our hoods are already very lightweight to begin with. The only weight savings that would do is lightening the wallet if people decided to go for a carbon fiber hood.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like I can stick with the white 3m tape since weight reductions are minimal there and that wrap is sweet.

shot an email to redline motorsport about a quicklift system for the hoods, should be an easy one for them and it looks like we'd have a few buyers...

Someone posted about this over on mitsu forums this morning and one of the full-size Outlander guys said he'd DIY'ed a setup, I asked him to post some pics, we'll see if he doesn't mind.

Wonder if we have any takers in the area or if someone's within a range for a day trip?

Hello,
We are interested in designing system for any and all vehicles that we do not currently have on our website. Some might already be in development.

The Outlander would be of interest. We are located in Dexter, Michigan, if you or anyone you know (local or online) is willing to visit us for a couple hour development session.

Thank you again for your interest in our products,
Brian

If I get the kit for free I might do it. I'll Google it later, but if Dexter is in southwest or south central Michigan I'd go.

lol that's pretty far east... That would be a 240 mile (3-1/2) hour drive each way for me. Maybe this summer when we have our cottage near Kalamazoo opened up and I can justify it by stopping at the lake for the weekend, but for the time being that's about double the distance I was hoping it would be. Sorry...
