keep the oil temp below 75c and itll run great otherwise you notice the power thats robbed from you in that heat new oil and good oil cooler should keep you around 60-70c im 375whp and im on stock cooler but it didnt go over 70c last time i ran it, [was in Louisiana(so very hot weather)]
i thought my evo was ****ed the first time it was at 80c it was runnin like **** that hot

but my thought was he has an MR so he should have the oil temp gauge stock is why i said that, my stock one reacts very welll and quickly but i understand what you mean a quick reading could tell you between life or death on the engine, lol didnt have a oil temp on my audi and had no idea it was overheating oil no smell no signs nothin well the engine lit in flames and the car went with it and then i got an evo IX
