Transmission oil change
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...cations-4.html
Look at jacks transmission tech articles for the drain/fill procedure for the Tcase. Hollywood has good write ups on this or the other forum. Do all the fluids at once (trans, Tcase, & both rear dif fluids. There is a ton of info on how to do this on this and the other forum. That being said, it still wasn't easy. In theory it's easy, but I found it to be quite tricky compared to other drain/fills on my other cars. T-case sucked because the fluid starts trickling out immediately as you are filling. The way it's supposed to work is that you fill until it starts trickling out, then when it's done the level is correct. So follow the "Jacks tech article" or meticulously measure how much you drain, and fill Vs. how much pours back out. Get it wrong and kiss your Tcase or rear diff goodbye. Get it right and save a butt load of cash. Let me know if you have more ?s or concerns.
As to your statement regarding oil temps being lower with Amsoil, is that documented? Is that something you know for a fact? We use a transmission temp gauge and haven't found that to be necessarily true at the race track and so I'd be very interested to better understand from where, exactly, that information originated. Thanks
