Amazon has the K&N for 326 and it's one of the only if not the only one that comes with a hotpipe with the intake...so it comes down to whether its worth the extra $60 for the pipe also DON'T hesitate to contact vendor reps on this site they will quote you a good price most of the time...and cross shop a few of them just to be sure

Debatable, but it won't hurt. Stock IC piping isn't exactly the pinnacle of maximum flow.

All intakes work fine with an aftermarket BOV, assuming the aftermarket BOV is good in design.

I have the Turbosmart dualport and I've ran both 50/50 and full recirc with no issues whatsoever

All 2008-2013 use the same intake. Contact MAP, they'll price match anyone online.

How are planning on getting a tune? An AP or a protune? Cause if ur getting a protune maybe talk to the tunner as well to get their thoughts on the subject....I want to keep my warranty as long as my brain will allow me lol or I would have consulted and maybe went a different way.

If you want maximum performance then you want the ETS and get the damn thing properly tuned to take advantage of all the extra airflow. It's advised that you tune the car because it's so much better flowing than stock. The KN works with the stock tune because it's not as effective as the ETS. If it were, you'd need to have the car tuned on the KN too. The stock tune sucks. Don't waste your money on a halfway intake system. Get the right stuff, tune the car and enjoy huge power gains and lots better drivability/fuel mileage.

isnt the reason u dont need a tune is bc the stock MAF adjusts to the amount of air coming in. im pretty sure its computer corrected either way. i thought the kn was better then the ets. it definately cost s more. i have a factory warranty im trying to keep as well so not sure how soon im going to tune bc there are other mods i want to add before i tune. feel like it would be dumb to tune so early

Isn't the K&N more expensive because it also comes with an UICP? I'm sure if you were to buy both ETS intake and UICP, the price range would be more narrow.

If you are unsure of tuning. Do what a lot of people do. Buy your parts and wait until you have all of your parts to get a tune.

i may. i keep seeing people say you can damage your engine from just an intake. i thought as long as it was the factory MAF the car would adjust. so if i just put a ETS intake on right now with no tune it should be ok right?

ETS and K&N doesn't come with the same parts. K&N comes with the intake and UICP thats why it's more money than the ETS intake system. ETS only comes with the intake and you have to purchase their UICP separately. The combine price of ETS I believe is a little more than K&N. With that said I purchased my car with K&N intake already on the car. I recently just switched over to ETS intake and UICP myself. I had no problems with the K&N system I just wanted to go with ETS after I purchased the car.

There is a thread someone on here or maybe another site that compared K&N to the Injen intake (comes with both intake and UICP same as K&N does) and people preferred the Injen more. I forget the exact reasons as it was so long ago since I looked at it.
