I wish they made the MR in Manual Transmission. That's the only thing holds me back from purchasing the EVO X MR. Why don't you just go with a GSR?

I kind of like the MR transmission as long as it holds up. I live in LA so a lot of stop and go traffic. I personally think the MR with the leather seats is a classy car. Its no M3 or ISF but it cost half as much. I was wondering how the MR does in autocross. That is something I used to do and had a lot of fun in my STi.

i highly recommend a gsr, the transmission for the MR is a 10k replacement if anything goes wrong. They won't be able to service it, but only replace it. My brother had his ralliart for 3 year about 30k miles on it and he only has intake, exhaust, and tune. They voided his warranty. I would go with manual. There are also other bad stories about the sst tranny. look it up on youtube.

I might consider the GSR. I wish I could get leather seats with out the sunroof. I'm sure it adds a lot of top weight. I guess I can take the wing off. Have any of you guys taken your wing off?

How much you think it would cost to have the wing taken off and holes covered? And maybe have the seats custom wrapped in leather.

The SST is perfectly reliable unless you beat the hell out of it and don't take care of it...
