knock count - tunning etc..

Hello Everyone, new owner of 13' ww evo x. I owned an evo 8 before for few months but it got totaled, never really got into modding it. Now that I have this new beast would relly like to learn more about this great machine.

I want to start loging my engine. What is the best way is it to purchase AP or?
Also what exactly is the KNOCK count, could anyone expalin?
Sorry for the noobie questions, and I appricate your help everyone.

I would recommend you go opensource, you would need tactrix caboe and evoscan, also download merlins guide and get your reading glasses out, , gl with everything

Go to one of these shops and get a professional tune by a COBB certified tuner. You want a safe tune for your car no knock more power better gas milage. You could do open sourse like the guy above said but unless you know what your doing you could damage your car. Better to take it to some one that knows what they are doing and has been tuning for awhile.

You don't have to have a app they can open source tune also but good to have a app to back to stock if needed.
