Unhappy Help me identify the problem, car is limping

So ever since https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...d-harness.html this happened, my car has been having problems and driveability is almost down to 0 at this point. I'll try my best to describe what i'm experiencing:

1.The car barely moves in pre boost rpm range and takes longer to get to 40 under normal driving. I really have to mash the gas to make it move, and when it does move its only when the turbo kicks in and then abrutptly jerks it forward (the power transition is sudden like a kick in the face). The gas pedal itself feels stiff and totally unresponsive as if the car has a tennis ball stuck in its intake.

2.Under WOT the rpms get stuck randomly (but not always) at 5-6k rpm for about a sec or 2 and then keep climbing. However the rpm's don't break up like the usually do with fouled spark plugs or bad coils.

3. Car upshifts too quickly even when going uphill; Lets say im doing 30mph in 3rd going uphill so instead of keeping rpm higher like it usually does it just keeps shifting barely hitting 2k all the way to 6th making it feel like its about to stall out. Again I have to mash the pedal to get it out of the hole and make it downshift (or do it manually). Same thing happens under normal driving it shifts up too fast when its still supposed to be gaining torque.

4. My stock intake with a K&N drop in is noticeably louder now, and I hear alot of BOV flutter (car is bone stock), usually when it upshifts too fast before bov gets to open up.

5. The exhaust smells like burning rubber ever under normal driving. The smell is more obvious when coming to a stop after a WOT pull. There is alot of soot on the exhaust tips.

6. Overall lack of power (feels as if it only has half the power now, even at wot)

7. The best way to describe how the car feels is; it feels like like your lower ic pipe is about to pop off ( that constipated feeling and then pop and it stops going past 3k rpm) Thats from my personal experience from my old evo IX days.

There is no check engine light or anything, but the car is certainly in super limp mode.

I've checked the oil and it seems fine (not milky or anything), checked for coolant leaks especially around where headgasket meets the block ( i was thinking dealer blew my headgasket by abusing the **** out of the car when its still cold), because as I've mentioned in my previous post as soon as I got the car back it was smoking thick white smoke like a chimney, which eventually went away (could be gas flooded?). I have also checked all vacuum lines and they are all intact. I just cant seem to find anything out of ordinary, and I will be taking the car to another dealership this Monday for a check up (as im definately not going to Manfredi ever again in my life)

The only thing I haven't looked at is the spark plugs, which I will be doing tomorrow morning. Does anyone have any suggestions or assumptions? Im totally lost here. Any input is appreciated.

Thanks!

PS: The car is a stock 2012 MR with 10.7k miles on it.

That is exactly what I will be doing Monday morning, but at a different dealership.

may be a dumb question... but did something kill your compressor or turbine blades? bearings go on the turbo?

I don't think going WOT is a good idea when the car isn't right either

Only did it a few times to see if the rpm's would start breaking up...that would usually mean spark plugs/coils, but that wasn't the case

I am the OP, and my garage hasn't been updated. But I do drive a 2012 X MR as stated in the original post. I'll update my garage shortly

the soot is an indicator that you're running overly rich. since your x is a 2012, i don't think your stock maps are rich like the 08-10 ones.

a boost leak won't do this, and a popped off pipe would have your car going into 3k limp mode - it won't rev above 3k.

i'm just going to say that it has something to do with that macgyver fix for that harness of yours. toss the car in and have (another, preferably reputable) dealership sort it out. no point in you looking for the problem.

UPDATE! I took the spark plugs out today, as well as my air filter as it wasn't sitting flush in the intake box (there was a gap at the upper left corner), and after putting everything back together and reinstalling the air filter...all problems are now gone. No more intake noise/bov flutter, and the power is back! But, i do have 2 questions; Are my spark plugs ok or are they pretty fouled? They look fine to me although for only 10k miles it does look pretty dirty, but the tip/electrode has no soot on it. And does anyone know wth is that green thing in the photo? Its located directly below the air box, and I noticed it when i took out my filter. Is it supposed be like that or is it missing some insulation?
