Picked up an used Works Short Shifter

I recently picked up this short shifter from a fellow forum member. I never saw a short shifter before so curious to know whether the shifter looks alright. I was expecting it to be all straight.

Do you have the little round clips?

If not you will need to save yours or buy some.

Unfortunately the shifter was not sold with the round clips. Does the one in the stock shifter fit for this as well? If not where could I buy these from?

Or better if any one could spare the extra ones that they have?

You should be able to pick those up at a hardware store. From what I could tell on mine, they weren't anything special.

In my experience its a double edge sword....the shorter throw is pretty nice but the shift becomes harder since you have less leverage for the shift....I went with a 1.1 lb knob and together they made the shifts perfect...no notchyness and a short defined throw

nrg heavyweight.... its a universal knob with an insert you thread yourself but with some muscle and one layer of electrical tape there is no play and its rock solid no matter how hard I shift
