The only reason why I sold it was because I did not like the tone of it. The loudness was fine just really raspy
Yea that's the thing I'm trying to avoid. I don't like the raspy tone, I prefer a deeper bellow to the exhaust.

Like I said that's the I ly reason why I sold it because it was raspy. If you don't want raspy it's not for you. It wasn't that it was to loud. I believe there is more people that would suggest the quiet version over anything because its "perfect". If I would of switched back to ets instead of te ams single exit like I had before I would of probably got the regular because the vids don't sound raspy.

The regular ETS exhaust is not raspy at all. I still have the stock dp and cat on, and it has a nice tone to it. I personally find it to be a bit loud, but sounds like you want a louder exhaust, so you would probably be very happy with it, especially when you upgrade the rest of your exhaust.

When I bought my car it had Agency Power dual catback and that was way too loud for me. I wanted to go back to stock, but that route was hard to come by, so it came down to ETS Quiet and Magnaflow for me. I might be wrong but the Magnaflow sounded a bit quieter to me so that's what I went with.

I ended up installing the Cobb DP and Ultimate Racing Mini Muffler test pipe alongside the magnaflow cat-back and this is the result:

I think this is even quieter now than it was when I bought it with just the Agency power cat-back, which is a good thing in my mind.

It's something you get used to. Of course it's loud when WOT. Even my GF who absolutely hated the extreme (WOT or normal driving) over my old ams single exit said she did not even notice the extreme with normal driving after about a week. Just has a raspy tone to it which I didn't like otherwise I would of kept mine.

FWIW - I have an AMS DP and Cobb TB including HFC and oval tips. Love everything about it, fit and finish is top notch and at idle it sounds like a performance car should, mean. No drone at high way speed, but I have a six speed SST and it's an SE with less sound dampening so I get a lot of road noise which might hide the exhaust sound. IMHO this is the perfect exhaust.

Ams single exit is loud. A smidge quieter than the extreme but I think that is because of the tone difference. I have no experience with the dual ams exhaust though

I have V2 extreme(no resonators), test pipe with DP and it's my DD. Is it loud yes, is it too loud, well that's a matter of opinion. Personally I love the way it sounds and it's perfect for me. No tickets, never been pulled over, pass cops regularly but I dont drive like a douche and rev at stop lights or anything like that. And yes it does drone a little on light throttle at around 3k RPM but only for a second. I get A LOT of compliments on the sound.

Hope this helps.
