Did u contact seller at least?

 

Not about repairing them.. He just said he didn't think any were bent.. Which obviously he had to of, so I'm figuring it wouldn't do a whole lot of good trying to get him to pay for anything..

Again, it is going to be a cheap, easy fix, so I'm not too concerned about the money part of if, I just hate it when sellers are dishonest or when people lie to cover up things..

 

Glad its an easy fix. It definitely could have been much worse.
Thankfully it was a lesson learned with small consequence.

Another update: Just got a call from the wheel shop, atleast three of them are bent. Im pretty pissed now..

That sucks man. I would do everything in my power to make sure the seller paid some way. Either having him agree to help pay to fix them or get him banned from selling via forums. Really shady that he would sell those without saying anything.

 

He hasn't responded yet.. I contacted him this morning when I found out..

 

At this point all hell can break loose.

 

Depending of the cost i'd make him pay at least half of the repair cost, if not all of it.

 

The seller committed fraud and he lied. No honest person would willingly give away never mind sell bent wheels to a fellow car enthusiast. I would take him to small claims court. At the very least he should be banned from this board.

 

If you don't know - for sure - that the seller didn't, for example, sell them "as is," then please don't start throwing around words like "fraud."

Because it would stink (for you) if the seller starting throwing around words like "libel."

At this point, I'm shutting this down. Yes, the wheel in the first pic is clearly bent. If the thread-starter wants to start a dispute thread, then he or she should go for it. But there's nothing more to be said in a tech forum besides "they can be fixed" and that's already been said.
