Evo X shopping
For reference, I just bought a new 2013 Evo with SS, SL and Navi for $2500 under invoice. But, it took a long time to get the exact car and exact deal I wanted. I spoke to probably 10 dealers on the phone, even more via email, and visited 5 dealers. I worked all of them to get the best deal I could find in my area. Eventually the one dealer came to the $2500 invoice price and that was all I needed to make the deal.
Hard to say what I payed, He said I paid invoice, and they put the rest into my trade. On the paperwork they split the difference, $2,500 under invoice, and $2,500 extra on my trade. I trade in most of the time, I very seldom sell privately, so it's always a trade difference game.
South Coast is the epitome game playing, hiding numbers, and barely legal advertising. Site sponsor or not, it's true and there are tons of threads *****ing about how they were advertising a price, someone booked a flight, and ended up paying vastly more than they expected.
