Thanks, that's my car with relocation kit from Autotorque. I'm very happy with the final results and now I don't have to worry about lines or my expensive pump.

Question: My light went off when accelerating. Was fine all day until I accelerated hard. Could it be possible because I'm on a loaner tire and its a different size? I don't think the pump is bad. When I turn on my car I have awc, but as soon as I put it in drive and move forward the light comes back on..

And how long can I drive with a faulty awc pump if its bad?

You can drive indefinitely with a bad pump, but driving with a tire that's a different size than the rest on an all wheel drive car can damage the drivetrain.

Do not drive an AWD vehicle with a different size tire as it WILL damage the drivetrain including probable damage to the transmission as it will be in a constant state of stress. I'm sure that's the reason for your codes although I'm seriously hoping for your sake that it's your pump failing it will probably be the cheapest to fix. Buy yourself 4 new (same size/tread/brand) tires before you drive another inch and also check the codes. And if you have warranty you might not want to say what you've done. Here's hoping that things work out for you.

It's the same tire, almost same amount of wear, and still pulled straight. I don't think it was the tire, but that has been situated. It's definitely the pump.

-Thanks

Word has it that Mitsubishi is going to cover the pump under the power train warranty, and reimburse anyone who replaced the pump while still under said warranty.
Word also has it that the replacement pumps are an upgraded version.
So, good news, folks.

so there is a chance they will cover it under the 3 year/36K powertrain? Shouldn't this be the drive train warranty?

yea it should be covered under the 3/36 warranty but it usually is not covered under the powertrain warranty

The bumper to bumper is 3 years, the power train warranty is 5 years.

Any updates, do you feel like you heard this from a reliable source and it's actually going to happen? I can't find anything online about mits covering the pump.
