Plenty of warranty left, take it in and let them replace it for you. They extended the warranty to 160,000kms so you're covered.

Take this opportunity to relocate it to the trunk so it doesn't fail again.

Same here. Pump was replaced just over a year ago and another just went out on me, possibly due to -40C temps :|

It was replaced under warranty.

My pump has been dead for over 2 years now. I should get around to replacing it. I'm sure it will help in every way possible lol might keep me from frying my front tires up in smoke on a launch.

You should replace it before that warranty runs out. if it hasn't already.

My pump failed. I refilled it and it dumped all of the fluid on my driveway I was told by shep trans if I drive with a bad pump my center diff clutch pack will get fried and the car will be Front wheel drive. Is this true? The part is so expensive too (I forgot I have 82,000 miles on the car.)

Before people starting buying pumps and kits. It might be a good idea to check the wiring to the pumps.

I found this thread and it looks interesting. http://www.lancerregister.com/showthread.php?t=355036

When I was rebuilding my pump I noticed my wiring was completely fried.
