Whine Noise, please help identify *Video Posted*

Can somone please help me identify this damn whining noise. It's doing it at about 3,000RPM to about 3,2000RPM and then when I pull it it out of gear it also whines a little. I posted a video and you guys can hear the whistle/whine.

It does it at 0:17, 0:22 - 0:26, 0:35, 0:41 - 0:43, 0:52

It only does it at 10 InHg. - 0 InHg. It might whine under boost, but im not 100% sure since the exhaust is loud and the intake is sucking air in like there no tomorrow.

Mine has been sounding like this to while its cold only. Once it moves up 2 lines then its good. Only during low rpms I can hear the whine thru 1st and 3rd. I can slightly hear it in 4th now. I am hoping it is just the turbo and not anything else. Gives me a reason to go bigger then but

I briefly checked the UPIC and everything is still intact.

Any way that it could be shaft play in the turbo? It def sounds like it's coming from the turbo.

I'll have to take my intake off and see if there is shaft play in the turbo.

I've thoroughly checked the UPIC, LICP, Intake and some vacuum lines, and they all seem to be fine. No craps, lose clamps, holes, etc.

Only thing is, with shaft play, if it has been going on for a while, you should have kind of a metal on metal type noise from the blade scraping the side of the housing. I would check it out either way just to eliminate the possibilities.

Not sure what the noise is, but word of advice, next time you're trying to get a video of noise, it may be a good idea to turn off the radio so it's more clear.

Umm... The radio is off.

Thank you for your useless input. Please don't post in here if you have nothing to bring to the table.

That's a bit harsh, I can clearly hear some Macklemore in the beginning of the video and music throughout.

Anyway, a friend of mine's 3000 GT had a sound similar to that. It turned out to be his Intake system whining when the air suction got to just the right amount. Think of it as the reverse effect of blowing into a glass bottle until you get it to whistle. I'd check the intake too.

I'll pull the intake off today and give it a good look along with the turbo

yeah my car made the exact same noise when my UICP clamp blew off and it was disconnected. Have you actually checked ALL of the clamps and connections of the pipes? Im assuming you most likely did not take off your bumper and check the connection to the intercooler.
